We always think ourselves to be the worst sufferers, whether a relationship fall out , or a financial disaster or even a less rewarding career -- others are always better placed than us.
I too thought in the same fashion, when the current recession dissolved a strong business foundation I built painfully over a decade. The result of 10 years of hard work vanished in no time, pushing me back to the starting point
Surprisingly, a close introspection; however, revealed a different picture.
There is no doubt that my net-worth diminished exponentially, but what about the decent life-style I enjoyed for so many years ?
How do I completely discount those comforts, that I, along with my family, enjoyed for so many years -- linked to my business success.
So, I haven't lost everything. And this thought gave me sufficient mental strength to re-build my confidence level.
Just because I happen to be in a worse situation now, does not necessarily signify the end of my career.
If I could make it once, a decade ago, with much lesser experience , then there is no reason why I should not make it again with 10 more years of useful experience.
I am confident, that I will! What do you think...?

Hi Kumar,
Thanks for your valuable comment. I still believe that nothing pays more than the attitude 'never give up.'
