A Mother's Love And Sacrifice For Her Children

During my childhood, in my native place, there used to live a family of husband, wife and 3 children. They were simple people and I had never seen them interfering with their neighbours.

Husband was doing petty jobs and for supporting family wife used to work in a school and take tuitions after working hours. Her name was Ekta. Sometime I used to see her sitting outside their home in a depressed mood.

Having watched their struggle for survival from close and her emotional turmoil that I could not understand at that time, my story is based on her.

I have used my imagination to describe her state of mind and emotional struggle. Her name has been changed to maintain confidentiality.

Ekta sat at the kitchen table, staring out the window as the sun began to rise. She sighed heavily, feeling the weight of the world on her shoulders.

She had been up since dawn, preparing breakfast for her husband and children, making sure that everything was perfect for their day ahead.

As she sipped her tea, she couldn't help but think about all the sacrifices she had made for her family over the years.

Ekta had always been the rock of her family. She was the one who held everything together, who made sure that her children had everything they needed, even if it meant going without herself.

She had given up her dreams of going to college to support her husband, who was struggling to find steady work. She had taken on extra jobs to help make ends meet, even though it meant missing out on spending time with her children.

But Ekta never complained. She did what needed to be done to ensure that her family was taken care of. She worked long hours, often coming home exhausted and sore, only to get up the next day and do it all over again.

She never asked for help, never expected anything in return. Her only concern was for her family.

As she watched her children eat their breakfast, laughing and talking amongst themselves, Ekta couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. She had missed out on so much, sacrificed so many of her own desires for the sake of her family.

She had put her own needs last, always putting her children and husband first.

But as she looked at their smiling faces, she knew that every sacrifice had been worth it. She had given her family a stable, loving home, a place where they could grow and thrive.

She had made sure that her children had opportunities that she had never had, that they could reach their full potential and chase their dreams.

Ekta knew that her sacrifices had helped shape her family into what they were today. Her children were kind, compassionate, and hardworking, just like their mother.

They had learned the value of hard work and determination from watching her struggle and never give up. They had seen firsthand the strength and resilience that she possessed, and it had inspired them to be the best versions of themselves.

As her children finished their breakfast and headed off to school, Ekta sat alone at the kitchen table, a sense of peace washing over her.

She knew that her sacrifices had not been in vain, that they had helped create a loving, supportive family that would always be there for each other no matter what.

And as she sat there, basking in the quiet of the empty house, Ekta couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to sacrifice for her family. It had been a long, hard journey, filled with ups and downs, but she wouldn't change a thing.

Because in the end, the sacrifices she had made had brought her the greatest joy of all: a happy, thriving family that she loved more than anything in the world.
